Summer '23 Construction Season

Well, the summer 2023 construction season is in the books, and quite a bit has been happening at NottaLottaWatta. I hope to expand on each project in detail, but for now, a few pictures of the house as it has progressed over the last year:

The entryway is enclosed, and the timberframed front has been installed.

The interior is taking shape, and we have added temporary tarps to all walls to protect our wiring until cordwood can be installed. Here you can see the temporary 2x4s ready to support tarps. We're going to miss working in the open air up here!

As always, a huge thanks to all the friends and family who came and spent their time helping out. It is always better working together. Thanks to the black bear that came to grace our work for a day, and of course, thanks to my wife who puts up with me being away, too many trips to the building supply store, and all my imperfect "wabi-sabi" moments!
